SONAR BANGLA

This image is a map of a country
which is situated in the south of Asia sorrounded by two other countries named India and Burma. It's a country who has a blue sea by her side since she first opened her green two eyes.We call this country Sonar bangla(bengal of gold). But her surface isn't made of gold, then why do we call her sonar bangla?'Cos in this world we may sacrifice a lot for money or precious elements like gold. But there's rarely someone who would sactifice one's own life for those. And though our bangla isn't made of gold,we have sacrificed 700000 lives for her.So why can't we compare her with gold?I think we can even compare her with something that can't be compared with anything else in the earth. My heart says there is something which can make any one sacrificeing anything, even life. It's called love. And this love for our cuntry has inspired us to write a dictionary of blood named "SONAR BANGLA" in the year 1971.

THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL

The national memoial at Savar near Dhaka is a symbol of nation's respect for the martyr of the liberation war in 1971.It's built with concrete but made of blood. It's an achievement the dimension of which can be measured, but it stands for an achievement which is immesearable. Most prominently visible is the 150 feet tower. It's actually a series of seven towers that rise by stages to a hight of 150 feet. The entire complex covers an area of 126 acres. There are also a mosque,a library and a museum. The relics of the liberation war is kept in the meseum. The most moving sight of the complex is the several graves of the martyred freedom fighters, close to the tower.Standing in front of the graves we bow down our heads in respect,as the tower soar up symbolizing the loftiness of their spirit.

THE RISING SUN

The sun is rising.Look at his yellow light through the dark cloud causing bright. His brightness will soon give us a prize that will lead our life to a new fantasy. He will amuse us with a sea much bluer than the sky. This sun rising image is taken from the Bay of Bengal.
